Staff of the USGS have developed a model to estimate the daily abundance of natural-origin subyearling fall Chinook salmon at Lower Granite Dam. The model uses information from unmarked fish in the sample tank at the juvenile fish facility. The collection of PBT information will serve to validate estimates of daily abundance produced from the model.
