The following explanatory note was provided by the data source (Josh Gable, Shoshone-Bannock Tribes). This note applies to all of the spreadsheets in this zip file. -#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#- The "DOchrg" (Dissolved Oxygen charge) relates to a specific type of DO sensor on the sonde which uses a replaceable membrane--only our Jordan Creek and West Fork Yankee Fork units may have employed this type of sensor during the 2010 season; others utilized an optic style sensor which doesn't utilize a "charge" value for DO measurement. "Battery Volts" refers to the power available to the sonde, as they run off alkaline batteries when deployed remotely. The sensors may begin to fail or give erratic readings if this falls below a certain level before it is caught, and we typically omit erroneous data when summarizing the information. We will typically highlight suspicious data in the red font to draw attention to it for further analysis, as opposed to outright omission.
