STREAMNET DATA STORE

Add Your Data Set

Use our Data Publishing Service to add your data set to the Data Store.

The StreamNet Data Store is a searchable archive of data sets related to fish and other aquatic resources that are not of the specific data types included in the main StreamNet database. These data sets come from many different sources and are provided for download in their original formats. To add your own data set to the Data Store, use our Data Publishing Service.

StreamNet did not participate in creation of most of these data sets, and we are not able to answer questions about those we did not help develop. For questions about the data sets available from this page, please contact the originator of the particular data set.

To search the Data Store, enter key words, project numbers, species, methods, etc. into the search box below and click "Search".

Purpose of Data Set Purpose provided in Abstract
Summary / Abstract Data collected from a rotary screw trap on Cedar Creek, a tributary to the North Fork of the Lewis River in Cowlitz County. Information collected is species, counts, and lengths. Marks are then given to most fish, which are taken up stream to be released. Recapture rate is then calculated when recaptures occur, to estimate populations of coho, steelhead, sea-run cutthroat and chinook species. The MS-Access database contains the raw data, the following excel spreadsheets and word documents contain population estimates (if any completed), a tally of fish caught and recaptured, and whether fish were able to retain the marks they were given. Trapping season runs the end of March to approximately July for each year, trapping first started in 1998.
Broad Biological Groups Fishes
