STREAMNET DATA STORE

Add Your Data Set

Use our Data Publishing Service to add your data set to the Data Store.

The StreamNet Data Store is a searchable archive of data sets related to fish and other aquatic resources that are not of the specific data types included in the main StreamNet database. These data sets come from many different sources and are provided for download in their original formats. To add your own data set to the Data Store, use our Data Publishing Service.

StreamNet did not participate in creation of most of these data sets, and we are not able to answer questions about those we did not help develop. For questions about the data sets available from this page, please contact the originator of the particular data set.

To search the Data Store, enter key words, project numbers, species, methods, etc. into the search box below and click "Search".

Broad Category of Methods Field and Lab
Data Collection Methods Smallmouth bass were captured by angling and electrofishing. Fish were floy tagged and released. Recapture data were used to estimate abundance. Smallmouth bass stomachs were pumped to identify different prey and to use the consumption of juvenile salmon to estimate consumption rates, daily ration, and ultimately loss of fish due to predation.

Data structure description All data are contained in one spreadsheet with multiple tabs corresponding to different aspects of the data. The first tab is called "Read Me" which explains what is in each tab and what each column name means. It is imperative that one reads the "Read Me" tab first so as to understand the data set. This is the companion data set to the smallmouth bass diet data. Both data sets are linked by the "Sample" number.
