The StreamNet Data Store is a searchable archive of data sets related to fish and other aquatic resources that are not of the specific data types included in the main StreamNet database. These data sets come from many different sources and are provided for download in their original formats. To add your own data set to the Data Store, use our Data Publishing Service.
StreamNet did not participate in creation of most of these data sets, and we are not able to answer questions about those we did not help develop. For questions about the data sets available from this page, please contact the originator of the particular data set.

Data structure description
|
See data set files. Initial fields of Waterbody, TribTo, DateCollected, AnalysisDate and AnalysisType are self explanatory. We provide definitions of the analysis results fields here.
NoFishInSample: Number of fish contributing to the sample analyzed.
SpeciesComposition: Species contribution, as a percentage of the total sample. Only one species code is listed when the entire sample possessed alleles from that species only. Species codes separated by “x” indicate hybridization between those species.
Percent: Indicates the genetic contribution of species to the sample assuming Hardy-Weinberg proportions. This number is reported only if samples appear to come from a randomly mating population and can be analyzed at the population level.
Count: Number of genetically pure and/or hybridized fish, if no percent is given. This number indicates the number of individuals with genotypes corresponding to a species when the sample can be analyzed on the individual level only; this occurs when alleles are not randomly distributed and hybridization appears to be recent and/or if the sample appears to consist of an admixture of populations. These samples are not considered to come from hybrid swarms and some pure individuals may exist. In these cases, we report the number of individuals with genotypes corresponding to each species and/or the types of hybrids detected and do not report genetic contribution percentages.
