Purpose of Data Set Each year,since 1991, juvenile fall Chinook salmon are beach seined and PIT tagged in Hells Canyon on the Snake River to monitor population attributes such as emergence timing, growth, relative abundance, and outmigration timing to aid in recovery efforts.
