The StreamNet Data Store is a searchable archive of data sets related to fish and other aquatic resources that are not of the specific data types included in the main StreamNet database. These data sets come from many different sources and are provided for download in their original formats. To add your own data set to the Data Store, use our Data Publishing Service.
StreamNet did not participate in creation of most of these data sets, and we are not able to answer questions about those we did not help develop. For questions about the data sets available from this page, please contact the originator of the particular data set.

Purpose of Data Set
These data were collected to obtain estimates of growth for Clearwater River subyearling fall Chinook salmon from tagging in the river to recapture at Lower Granite Dam.
Summary / Abstract
Some juvenile fall Chinook salmon produced in the Clearwater River delay migration in Lower Granite Reservoir and either pass Lower Granite Dam late in the fall or delay seaward migration all together until the following spring. The fish that pass the dam in the fall can be large (e.g., >200 mm) suggesting that growth conditions in the reservoir are good. These data were collected to obtain growth information from fish rearing in Lower Granite Reservoir during the summer and fall. Fish were PIT tagged in the Clearwater River and recaptured at Lower Granite Dam.
